Posted by admin on September 17th, 2008 filed in TechnologyI’ve been hard at work with BitTorrent downloading a stable version of Ubuntu for my Quad core machine… This was something I noticed from my firewall over the last several days…
Downloads go normally until exactly 4:30 PM… at which point the maximum traffic drops to .5 Megabit on my 5 Megabit line.. Bell slows me to 10%.
At 6:00 PM exactly it drops my download to .25 Megabit on my 5 Megabit line.
At 1:00 AM exactly, it speeds back up to .5 megabit.
Then at 2:00 AM it looks like traffic shaping comes off - until 4:30 PM
