Running a business from home. Getting a ‘business’ line for some reason costs more money than a personal line. But with VOIP, you can grab a business line for a low cost. When someone phones your business they will get your IVR, which hopefully sounds professional. At least more professional than having your four-year-old answer the phone. You can have a distinctive ring, prefix to the call id, and have it reach you out on your cell phone. You can even pick up a local number in another city, or country. It really makes working from home easier.
