Job Qualifications - How to succeed as a teacher

Qualifications mean nothing. Have you taken any additional qualification subjects? They are the lowest quality university courses I have ever taken. They are designed to be time consuming, but not challenging. My additional qualifications to teach high school Science was identical to the course to teach high school English. 100% identical. Same questions, same unit work, same assignments. Now, I’m no expert, but I think English and Science are pretty different subjects.
Jobs will be posted, asking for certain qualifications.
If they say ‘teacher requires X years of experience and XX qualification’, apply anyways. So often I saw jobs (such as special education positions) that required special education go to people without it. Solution - Apply for whatever position you want.
If you see a job with a really odd mix of requirements, chances are they tailored the job requirements to a particular individual. If you do qualify, toss a wrench into their works and apply. (Yes, I did that!)
